I am an evangelical in the Methodist tradition. I believe the Bible is the word of God and the sourcebook of our faith and practice. I believe in the scriptural truths which the church through its history has considered essential to orthodox belief. I believe each of us has the privilege of experiencing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. And I believe that we are called to share God’s grace with others through personal witness and acts of service. I am ecumenical in spirit and embrace all who love the Lord. My greatest joys in ministry are preaching the gospel, welcoming newcomers, and encouraging mature believers to pursue greater personal holiness and social justice.
